Zeochem acquires Sorbead India and Swambe Chemicals in India

Pearls, January 23, 2024 – Zeochem, the chemicals division of CPH Chemie + Papier Holding AG, is acquiring Sorbead India and Swambe Chemicals, based in Vadodara in India. The company trades in molecular sieves and packaging materials and produces chromatography gels for use in the packaging and pharmaceutical industries. Sorbead India and Swambe Chemicals generates an EBITDA in the mid-single-digit million dollar range, employs around 65 people and has its own production site in the Indian state of Gujarat. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price. The transaction is expected to close in the second quarter of 2024.
