Virtual Meeting- CEO of the MIDC

For some months now, the economic situation and the business climate for most companies in India have been steadily improving. Indicators are pointing to growth again and corporates are able to focus again more on their core business and strategic plans.
Around half of the over 300 Swiss investments in India are based in Maharashtra. A favorable business environment and constructive relations with the local authorities are essential for all of them. Against this backdrop, the Consulate General in Mumbai is organizing, in cooperation with the Swiss-Indian Chamber of Commerce India (SICCI), a virtual meeting of representatives of Swiss companies in Maharashtra with the CEO of the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) on September 15, 2021, from 5 pm – 6 pm.
The exchange offers Swiss companies the opportunity to raise problems and concerns while doing business in Maharashtra. These include, for example, challenges with local regulations and authorities, infrastructure etc.. At the same time MIDC will highlight latest initiatives of the Maharashtra Government to promote foreign investment.
