The session will cover market entry and expansion strategies, structuring commercial contracts, and managing disputes, followed by networking and an apéro.

The event is aimed at Swiss companies that, in the wake of the TEPA agreement, wish to establish a market presence in India or further strengthen and optimize their existing commercial operations.

Speakers
Sam Moss – LALIVE
Sam is a partner at LALIVE in Zurich. Sam specialises in commercial and investment treaty arbitrations, with a focus on largescale construction disputes.

Genevieve Poirier – LALIVE
Genevieve is a partner at LALIVE in London. Genevieve has extensive experience with India-related disputes, including successfully representing and enforcing a USD 1.2 billion award for NTT DOCOMO, Japan’s largest telecommunications company, against Tata Sons and acting in a joint venture dispute involving slum rehabilitation next to Mumbai airport.

Roopa Mathews – LALIVE
Roopa is senior associate at LALIVE in Zurich. Roopa is experienced in India-related disputes, including representing investors in investment treaty arbitrations with India.

Rüdiger Schröder – Altios
Rüdiger is an India market expert with over 15 years of experience leading European subsidiaries across India. At M+V Altios, he advises international companies on market entry and expansion strategies in India and serves on the Board of the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce.

Marius Heickmann – Altios
Marius is the International Business Advisor and Country Representative of Altios in Switzerland. He holds a Master’s Degree in Asian Economies & Societies with strong focus on India. He supports over 30 internationalisation projects for Swiss and German SMEs every year, most of which are based in India.

Philippe Reich – SICC / Baker McKenzie
Philippe is Chairman of SICC and Partner at Baker McKenzie Switzerland, based in Zurich. He serves as Head of the Firm’s International Trade Practice in Switzerland, focusing on trade compliance, international trade & regulatory and foreign investments.
