TEPA EFTA-India: What lies ahead?
December 2 @ 17:30 - 20:00
HSG Alumni & SICC @ Baker McKenzie
While the UK and EU continue to be in negotiations with India on an FTA, the EFTA States (with Switzerland in the lead) and India signed a Trade and Economic Partnership Agreement (TEPA) on 10 March 2024 after overall 16 years of negotiations. This is a milestone in Swiss foreign trade policy and opens up the world’s largest and fastest growing market to Switzerland.
As part of a series of in-depth events on the TEPA, SICC together with its member Baker McKenzie and the HSG Alumni, invite you for an in-depth evening session on TEPA and what it entails for Swiss businesses and people. Philippe Reich, Chairman SICC and Partner Baker Mc Kenzie, will give you the lowdown on the agreement and Sushil Premchand, Group Chairman PRS Group India and Honorary President SICC, the SME investor view. Eric Ledergerber, HSG Alumnus, will introduce the HSG Alumni and present the key findings from his recent HSG master thesis on the TEPA.
