Before antibiotics, the average life expectancy even in the industrialized world was less than 50 years of age. In 2019, it was recorded to be a little over 72 years, but the growing antimicrobial resistance (AMR) is an area of major concern, for if not timely addressed, AMR could well be the reason for this figure to plummet soon.
The Keynote on Healthcare after our Annual General Meeting this year addresses the subject of anti-microbial resistance with the founder and CEO of Bioversys, an organization which specializes in this field.
The afternoon and the evening will unfold as follows:
