DESCRIPTION:Virtual Expert Panel: Improvement of Productivity and Operational Excellence in India Michael Enderle\, Chief Representative Switzerland of Dr. Wamser + Batra GmbH – a SICC Member and Process Optimisation and Restructuring partner\, informs that according to the “WB Business Climate Index India 2020”\, 58 percent of 120 medium-sized companies from Switzerland\, Germany and Austria report a drastic slump in sales in India and are therefore currently struggling with various challenges in their local subsidiaries.The study also reports that one in four managers is already engaged in optimisation and restructuring of their local processes and organisation. Every fifth company identified its own cost structure as the primary problem. Due to the lack of transparency\, many managers from European headquarters face problems to obtain an objective assessment of their organisations in India and are therefore not in a position to implement successfully required adjustments.   Swiss-Indian Chamber of Commerce and Dr. Wamser + Batra offers organisations\, concrete approaches to improve productivity and optimise the local cost structure in manufacturing\, sales\, procurement and administration.
