DESCRIPTION:Tuesday\, 8th September 2020! \n\nOne of the key objectives of Switzerland’s foreign policy is promoting free trade and ensuring access to international markets for Swiss companies. At exports worth approximately CHF 18000 million in the year 2019\, India is perhaps Switzerland’s second largest trading partner in Asia. That\, when the trade policies in India are protectionist. Now\, with the economic challenges thrown up by the Corona crisis\, for the Indian government focusing on the economy is of top priority and India is more than ever before not only open to foreign direct investment but also welcoming to foreign collaborations in different sectors. Clearly\, there is considerable potential in a free trading relationship between the two countries and it is time that we address this issue and try and arrive at a solution where both countries profit.\n\nTo facilitate and address this very important subject of free trade agreement between Switzerland (and the EFTA Group) and India\, SICC brings together noted eminent public and private sector experts on Tuesday 8th of September 2020 at Bern.\n\nWe welcome you to join in on the afternoon of Tuesday 8th September\, 2020 at the SICC Annual General Meeting scheduled from 16:15hrs and at the panel discussion and networking dinner scheduled from 18:00hrs to 21:30hrs.\n\nFee:\n\n 	Members CHF 120\n 	Non-Members CHF 150\n\n \n\n \n\n
